Learning the Flow – an Ink and Salt Painting Workshop
Hosted at River Wood Studio
31st May, 10.30am until 4.30pm
A full day workshop to explore painting with the medium of ink and salt on paper.
You’ll be visiting a special place besides the River Wye to sketch. We’ll return to the studio to work on ideas which spring from time spent with the wild river. You’ll experiment with ink and salt on paper, a technique which builds a sense of flow and expands creative horizons. Suitable for artists at any level and also for beginners who want to explore mindful creative practice.
This is an opportunity to connect to a group of creatives and to inspire each other.
The workshop will be hosted in Rhayader, Wales. River Wood studio is one of the oldest buildings in the area, with timber frames, stone floors and cast iron fireplaces. The river is a short walk from the studio, with easy walking access.
Limited to a maximum of 6 people.
Unfortunately, due to the age of the building and its narrow stairs the space is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Price: £95
Includes a light, vegetarian lunch, tea and coffee.
